Haitian Black Castor oil is also known as Palma Christi oil which means "Hands of Christ". This natural oil is best known and sought after because of its healing properties. Traditionally processed, it is excellent oil for stimulating hair growth, and moisturizing and conditioning the skin, hair, scalp and nails.

Also known as lwil maskriti, and maskreti lakay, this Haitian Castor Oil has a very rich tradition in Haiti. It is produced by the traditional method of roasting, grinding, and cooking castor beans (Ricinus communis), of Haitian origin in water and then separating the oil from the water. This process gives the oil a distinctive dark color and nutty aroma.
